Restaurant Week {The River Café}

Yesterday I had my second dining experience for the Restaurant Week, this time I visited The River Café.

The atmosphere is very romantic, I had a table overlooking the Cuale river with it’s luscious vegetation and lots of births flying by, what a beautiful setting.

Dinner at The River Café was a delight. Alejandro, the very attentive server who took my order recommended the dishes pictured below.

The Roasted Pear Salad is prepared with locally produced organic greens and blue cheese vinaigrette with pecans and warm slices of pear, the salad is finished with a drizzle of honey and balsamic vinegar reduction.

This dish is so good and rich in flavor, the roquefort sauce was amazing. The steak is served over a creamy potato purée and topped with withe onion marmalade.

Warm Molten Chocolate cake served with vanilla ice-cream and fruit, such a sweet and delicious way to finish dinner!
